Supporting Challenging Behaviors

This new technical assistance will be offered to classrooms statewide through an application process to receive strategies to prevent and intervene with challenging behaviors when they arise. Challenging behaviors have become a statewide and nationwide concern, not only for child care centers, but also for schools. The goal is to provide strategies early as a means of intervention and prevention to see long-term impact for children. This project will award stipend money, expanded to include support of classrooms to develop strategies for challenging behaviors.
