UNIVERSITY PLACE HANDS OUT LEARNING PACKETS FOR PRE-K STUDENTS
Over 500 bags were given out to pre-K students to aide in their home learning instruction on Wednesday at University Place Elementary School.
Dr. Pamela Truelove-Walker, the District 3 Director, says that the bags were filled with pre-K learning activities such as crayons, construction paper, glue, flash cards, and even beach balls.
“We are passing out activity bags to first class Pre-K children, these children are going to be able to take the packet of information contained in these bags to utilize it for home-learning instruction,” Truelove-Walker said.
The event was hosted by the Alabama Department of Early Childhood Education Office of School Readiness to try and help during these difficult times.
